I am still not feeling well so am trolling the ‘net to pass the time until quittin time so I can go back home and to bed. In doing so I found Scott Adams blog: http://www.dilbert.com/blog. He is an amusing writer (I love his strip, but then again, I am in the IT ‘biz and deal with PHBs all the time) and I have been enjoying what I read. I came across one particular post (so far) that I felt would be worth adding here as I believe I can work it into my idea for the pure virtual economy that I keep babbling about. It is about the idea that we have reached an era were ideas themselves can actually be valuable, as opposed to only the implementation of ideas. You can read it here: http://www.dilbert.com/blog/entry/wheres_my_angel_broker/.
I have saved a few article links I want to write about when I get out of this funk (migraines suck!) and hopefully soon I will be back up to my more normal posting rate.
I don’t know how anyone can think that ideas have no value. Ideas which haven’t been realized and may, actually, be impossible of realization, shift our paradigm of thought. We go charging off in new directions and do great and horrible things.
