It is interesting to me that most modern CCD-based cameras work excellently in the near IR range (you see this in the &#8216;green&#8217; light of night-shot cameras (though be warned, if someone is looking at you with an IR viewer (basically, any CCD-equiped device) you are visible from _miles_ away).
